Harbour International is a learning-focused school not only for the children but also for the teachers and the parents.
At Harbour, we understand that all children are unique, especially as they come to us from many different educational backgrounds and experiences from all over the world. Teachers ensure that the curriculum is adapted and tailored to each individual child’s needs to ensure they make the best progress they can.
To help parents settle into their new community we offer a range of opportunities. Dutch and English lessons take place weekly in school. We also host a range of coffee and conversation mornings that focus on different topics from healthy eating to helping your children cope with change.Participation of parents in school life is also encouraged and parents can join our PSG (Parent Support Group) or/and can volunteer in our library.
Teacher learning is important too! All our teachers are part of learning communities where they review and develop their practice and many attend training all over Europe to ensure they are up to date on current teaching methods and approaches.
